On October 10, several Teen Volunteers in Action and some of their parents joined the SeaWeeders in layering newsprint and mulch at the Solana Beach Post Office. Many hands made quick work of the task, so we also enlisted the boys to help spread weed barrier under some of the river rock borders and help place new stepping stones along along the south parking lot. A new path has been extended at the Post Office to accommodate a third bench being fabricated by local artist Brett Reisdorf of Relay Design. Thanks to all in our community who donated mulch offered by EDCO at the City's Bulky Waste Day event on October 3. And special thanks to our mulch-day volunteers!
